My approach to garden photography is centered around my training as a landscape designer. I look for the elements that define the intent of the garden design. I enjoy photographing vignettes that together make up the whole of the garden.
Photographing gardens is unique because they are always changing as they go through the four seasons and as the plants mature. I believe that photography can illustrate the role that home landscapes can play in protecting and enhancing the natural environment.
My work has been published in the book: Successful Container Gardening by Joseph R. Provey; published by Creative Homeowner. I am the photographer for the Association of Northwest Landscape Designer's annual garden tour.
My photographs of your garden can become print quality images for your wall, a photo gallery to post on your social network sites for friends and family to view, or a professional quality slide show DVD with transitions and background music.
I enjoy photographing gardens, even those I haven't designed! Contact me to photograph yours. Please take a look at my Garden Photography Portfolio.
