The landscape design process begins with a visit to the site to discuss the project with you. We'll ask you to talk about what you like and don't like about your current landscape and how you intend to utilize the space. We have prepared a "Your Garden" Questionnaire to help you organize your thoughts prior to our initial meeting.
Walking the site with you gives us a sense of the size and scope of the project. We'll also show you samples of
our landscape design projects, review a set of landscape plans so that you'll understand the design process we use with our clients, and we'll show you the Garden Owner's Manual that is put together at the completion of each project.
The meeting usually takes about an hour. We always follow-up the meeting with a written design proposal, describing the scope of the project, what you will receive, the timeframe to complete each stage of the design, and the total cost of the garden design.
There is no cost or obligation for this initial meeting. It is your meeting and your opportunity to learn about what to expect from Homescaper. A landscape design is a collaboration between you and the designer, and you should feel comfortable with the relationship from the very beginning.
